2025 NSW Community Sports Awards Ceremony

Monday, 30 June 2025, Commbank Stadium

The NSW Community Sports Awards are focused on community and grass roots sport, recognising the contributions largely carried out by a volunteer workforce.

Hosted by the Hon. Stephen Kamper,  Minister for Sport, join us for this special event to celebrate the efforts and achievements of these dedicated volunteers from across NSW. The winners of each award category will be announced and the recipients of the Distinguished Long Service Honours will be presented.

Date and time: Monday, 30 June 2025, 6:00pm arrival, canapes will be served, presentation ceremony will commence at 7:00pm.

Venue: Commbank Stadium, 11-13 O'Connell St, Parramatta NSW 2150

Ticket cost: $95.00 (inc.GST) each

Q: I'm a finalist! What should I do? 
A: Finalists will be required to purchase a ticket to attend the event. The nominating State Sporting Organisation, Association or Club may purchase tickets on your behalf, so check with them, should you need to purchase your ticket, use the BUY TICKETS button above to book ticket/s to attend the function.
If you're unable to attend, please contact Sport NSW, info@sportnsw.com.au to confirm you'll be an apology. 

Q: I'm a Distinguished Long Service Honour Recipient! What should I do? 
A: Distinguished Long Service Honour Recipients will be require to purchase a ticket to attend the event. The nominating State Sporting Organisation, Association or Club may purchase tickets on your behalf, so check with them, should you need to purchase your ticket use the BUY TICKETS button above. If you're unable to attend, please contact Sport NSW, info@sportnsw.com.au to confirm you'll be an apology. 

Q: I would like to book for a group of 10+
A: Please continue and use the BUY TICKETS button above, up to 15 tickets can be purchased online. Names and email addresses of guests will need to be provided at the time of purchase. Should you need to purchase more than 15 tickets, you will need to do so in multiple transactions.

Q: I would like to purchase tickets for a group, however I do not know the names of all guests who will be attending.
A: Please continue to purchase the total tickets you require before the closing date, place your organisation name in the field name of the guest. Once you have confirmed all guests in attendance please email these names and where possible email addresses to Sport NSW,  info@sportnsw.com.au

Q: What happens if someone who I have purchased a ticket for can no longer attend?
A: Tickets are transferrable only (tickets are not refundable), please contact Sport NSW, info@sportnsw.com.au to advise who will be replacing the person who cannot attend.

Q: Can I book a table? 
A: The Community Sports Awards Event is a cocktail function followed by the awards presentation, there is no reserved seating. 

Q: Will there be food and beverage at the event? 
A: Yes, there will be canapes and drinks served at the cocktail function, prior to the presentation of awards. 

Q: What is the dress code? 
A: Business Attire.
