The Timeout Talks webinar series is a collaboration between Sport NSW, NSW Office of Sport and Australian College of Physical Education to ensure that our sporting community remains connected and united through the current times.

Timeout Talk:

COVID-19 has provided sport with time to reflect upon and reconnect with its importance role in providing holistic lifelong learning through movement and physical activity. According to Sport Australia, Physical Literacy delivers physical, psychological, social, and cognitive health and wellbeing benefits. This webinar is a follow-up to the timeout talk ‘A conversation around physical literacy' in which the concept of physical literacy and its role in enhancing the sporting and movement experiences of all people engaging in sport, movement and physical activity was explored. In ‘Case Studies from Sport’ sporting organisations will share and explain how they have embraced and embedded physical literacy at the heart of their sporting programs.

Hosts:

  • Pierre Comis - Board Director, Bluearth Foundation
  • Gareth Long - Director of Program Innovation and Development, ACPE
