2022 NSW Community Sports Awards

Sport NSW is pleased to open the nominations for the 2022 NSW Community Sports Awards

The NSW Community Sports Awards, presented by Sport NSW, recognise outstanding achievements and contributions to community sport in NSW – largely carried out by a volunteer workforce.

More than 500,000 people across NSW voluntarily dedicate their time every year through their involvement in sporting clubs and organisations.

The NSW Community Sports Awards provide State Sporting Organisations and State Sporting Organisations with a Disability an opportunity to recognise the efforts and achievements of their dedicated volunteers, because put simply, sport would not exist without them.

This year, nominations are invited for ten categories, plus the Distinguished Long Service Awards for those that have given exceptional service to their sport for over 25 years. The 2022 Awards categories are;

  1. Community Official of the Year
  2. Young Official of the Year
  3. Community Coach of the Year
  4. Young Coach of the Year
  5. Community Sport Administrator of the Year
  6. Volunteer Director of the Year
  7. Community Team of the Year
  8. Community Club of the Year
  9. Local Council of the Year
  10. Community Event of the Year
  11. Distinguished Long Service Awards
